Chanel Rouge Coco in 40 Charme and 77 Jersey Rose Review

I've been eyeing the Chanel Rouge Coco line of lipsticks for quite some time now. However, I wasn't able to own any until recently, when my mom decided to buy two for me. She also bought a couple for herself and I'm so happy I was with her when she decided to go lipstick shopping. ^_^ These were purchased for PHP1650 each from Rustans Makati.

After swatching almost the entire display of Rouge Coco's (and forgetting which swatch was which) I decided to go for my signature lipstick looks: a light soft pink (40 Charme - left) and a light peachy pink (77 Jersey Rose - right). Since these were quite expensive, I decided to go for colors that I knew I can wear practically everyday, rather than something that I might only wear every now and then.

Maybelline Cheeky Glow in Cream Cinnamon Review

Maybelline has a new(ish) affordable blush line called Blush Studio Cheeky Glow. Here in the Philippines, it is being sold for only PHP199.00. I found that these blushes are not usually sold in Maybelline counters found in department stores. Instead, I found these in drugstores like Mercury Drug or some Watsons branches. The disadvantage of which, is there are no sample products available for swatching. They come in the packaging as seen below.

DIY Ombre Hair

I volunteered to help my aunt with a DIY ombre hair project. She had shoulder length hair that has been colored and bleached numerous times. This time, she wanted to try an ombre look. She just wanted the tips bleached blonde so that if she decides she wasn't so crazy about the style after all, it would be easy to just chop off the bleached parts. This was the peg we were going for...

Here's my aunt's hair before we started. As seen below, it's was colored brown a few weeks ago.

Non-makeup: Celebrity Sighting in Seoul Korea!

I'm currently in Seoul, Korea for a short vacation with my husband. We were in Myeongdong yesterday walking around when we saw the Brown Eyed Girls filming Guerilla Date out on the streets. There was already a crowd forming but luckily, we were able to squeeze our way in.

YSL Rouge Volupte in Lingerie Pink Review

I only had a chance to buy one thing at the airport during my recent trip to Singapore: the YSL Rouge Volupte in Lingerie Pink. I bought it for SGD34.70, which I think is a reasonable price for this lipstick, since it typically costs around USD 34.00 in the US.

The most striking thing about this lipstick is its packaging. I find this packaging so beautiful and elegant. To be honest, a greater part of my desire to get this lipstick is because of its packaging. The pink color in the middle of the tube shows a representation of the lipstick's shade, and I find that this is a very accurate representation.
